**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum qualification: Diploma/Certificate in culinary/baking/pastry or equivalent to SPM.
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in pastry section.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Review daily production sheets with Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure necessary food items produced on time.
- Maintain consistency of standardized recipes and menu specifications are met. Ensure section opening and closing procedures implemented and according to standard operating procures.
- Control overproduction and food waste to minimum, proper food rotation, food labelling and storage condition to reduce food cost expense.
- Sound knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensil operation in line with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure staff complies with all safety regulations and working in a clean and safe environment.
- Generate good interpersonal relationship with staffs and lead by example as a strong team player.
- In charge of preparation and production of pastry/baking items and special order according to recipes.
- Check all ingredients and mise-en-place daily for preparation and production.
- Daily check of ingredients and products to prevent and avoid wastage and spoilage to keep food cost low.
- Monitor no food given out without proper documentation or to unauthorized persons.
- Report immediately any missing items to Section Head as part of food control and security procedures.
- Ensure Section equipment used correctly, kept clean and report any malfunction promptly to Section Head.
- Participate in kitchen training and related programs for updating kitchen operation management.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Section Head.
- Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills and a strong team player.

**JOB LOCATION**:

- Central Kitchen - Asia School of Business Academic (Kuala Lumpur)

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
