**Job Title**: Plant Supervisor - Nitrohumic Acid Production

**Department**: Manufacturing / Operations

**Location**: Klang

**Reports To**: Plant Manager / Production Manager/ Production Chemist

**Job Summary**:
The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations of the nitrohumic acid plant, ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent manufacturing in line with quality standards and environmental regulations. The role involves coordinating plant staff, monitoring chemical processes, and optimizing production performance while maintaining strict safety and quality compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Production Operations**
- Supervise day-to-day plant activities, including chemical reaction, mixing, drying, filtration, and packaging processes.
- Monitor critical process parameters (temperature, pH, reaction time, concentration) to ensure product consistency.
- Coordinate raw material usage and production scheduling to meet targets.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transfer of chemicals and finished products.

**Quality & Process Control**
- Work closely with the laboratory team to verify product quality (total N, humic acid content, pH, solubility, ash, etc.).
- Identify and troubleshoot process deviations or inefficiencies.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for yield, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and process data sheets.

**Safety & Compliance**
- Enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA and DOE (Department of Environment) requirements.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure use of proper PPE.
- Oversee waste handling, effluent discharge, and compliance with environmental standards.

**Team Management**
- Supervise operators, technicians, and contract workers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide on-the-job training, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with maintenance for equipment upkeep and preventive servicing.

**Reporting & Coordination**
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports.
- Liaise with management, procurement, and QC teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Assist in plant audits, R&D trials, and new process implementations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Diploma in **Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Process Technology**, or related field.
- Minimum **2-5 years’ experience** in a chemical, fertilizer, or related manufacturing plant (humic acid experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of process control, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
- Leadership skills with hands-on approach in managing shift operations.
- Good communication and problem-solving ability.

**Added Advantage**:

- Experience in **nitrohumic acid**, **organic fertilizer**, or **chemical synthesis plants**.
- Knowledge of ISO, GMP, and environmental compliance systems.
- Basic understanding of laboratory analytical methods and product quality parameters.
