Parts Assistant, Body

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage inventory control and storage activities for body panels, paint materials, consumables, and repair parts.
- Plan and coordinate the ordering of parts based on body and paint repair schedules to ensure timely availability.
- Perform weekly and monthly stock counts, including investigation and reconciliation of any inventory variances.
- Supervise the receipt, inspection, and storage of parts and paint supplies in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all stock movements and transactions.
- Process daily requisitions for both internal and external parts needs.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety of parts storage and paint mixing areas.
- Communicate regularly with Body & Paint Service Advisors and workshop personnel regarding parts availability and arrival timelines.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially concerning hazardous materials like paints and thinners.
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum qualification: SKM Level II or Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Demonstrate integrity and responsibility in handling high-value inventory items.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills for effective inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments.
- Knowledge of automotive body repair parts and paint materials is a plus.
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
- Will be based at **Teluk Panglima Garang**
Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
