Driver Trainer

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Plan, schedule and execute smith defensive driver's training in the organization. Every drivers need to be trained within the calendar year.
- Refresher training to be conducted on all previously trained drivers every two years.
- Incab assessment to be conducted on all incoming drivers and documents on corrective driving behavior to be carried out.
- Training drivers on loading and unloading processes and provide refreshers yearsly
- Ensure that all hazards and environmental impacts are identified and managed to acceptable level. (hazard and environmental impact register made available).
- Classify drivers into class A, B & C based on their driving performance, customer complaints, speed and other GPS violations.
- Ensure all drivers conduct PDC as per PEARL's SOP.
- ORGANIZE & MONITOR : Defensive driving, Fatigue Management, Emergency and incident reporting, Knowledge on basic 1st aid and fire fighting, Drivers understand SDS and product knowledge, Random inspection of vehicle's road worth condition with schedules and updates, Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- SCHEDULE & CONDUCT THE FOLLOWING: Drug and alcohol test, vehicle inspection, Journey audits, Emergency and fire drills, Driver's tool box meeting.

- Read maps & use geographic positioning system (GPS)
- Use local or regional geographical knowledge to transportation
- Use various hand tools
- Climb truck ladders
- Drive truck with capacity greater than 3 tons
- Operate cleaning equipment
- Use vehicle repair tools or safety equipment
- Use truck-mounted hydraulic lifts or other accessories
- Class A or B License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
