**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as **Selenium** and **Katalon Studio**.
- Execute **performance testing** using **Apache JMeter** and analyze the results.
- Collaborate with **testers, developers, and SMEs** to understand workflows and translate them into automated tests.
- Participate in **test planning**, **effort estimation**, and deliver high-quality test documentation.
- Log defects, work closely with developers for resolution, and ensure test closure activities are completed.
- Provide **automation training and guidance** to team members as needed.
- Maintain and update test assets and documentation using tools like **Jira**, **Confluence**, and **Jenkins**.
- Ensure compliance with software development lifecycle processes, including **Agile methodologies**.
- Leverage knowledge in **life insurance systems** to design effective and relevant test cases.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience** in test automation using **Selenium and/or Katalon**.
- Proficient in **performance testing** with **JMeter**.
- Familiarity with tools such as **Jira**, **Confluence**, **Jenkins**, and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of **software testing principles**, **automation frameworks**, and **test lifecycle management**.
- Good knowledge and experience in **life insurance** domain (highly preferred).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Nice to Have**:

- ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration in DevOps environments.
- Exposure to other testing tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Groovy) is a plus.
