**FUNCTION**: Corporate Finance

**LOCATION**:Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

The role is part of Corporate Finance Team as part of APMEA North DRBU, based at our GBS Centre in Malaysia. The Team Lead - Planning & Reporting will prepare and deliver accurate information (Budget, Forecast and Actual results), in line with Group accounting principles to assure a proper disclosure of company financial information to key end markets. This role will support a number of key areas in the Corporate Finance Team, including assisting with monthly and ad-hoc forecasting requirements related to Balance Sheet and Cash Flow. This role will also be key in ensuring and documentation of SOX controls operated by the team and supporting a timely and accurate month end close.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Serve as an independent contributor for a component of the Record to Report function inclusive of, Reconciliations, Month End Close, Statutory & Financial Reporting, Management reporting, data integrity and quality.
- The Team Lead - Planning & Reporting will perform specific tasks allocated by the line manager in the area of integrity, quality and reasonableness of the management and statutory reporting process, which includes QPR and QTR reporting exercises.
- Assistance in preparation of various submissions of the management reporting unit as well as legal entity reporting requirements as per the set SLA's and with the frequency set by the IBPM process.
- Identify material movements based on pre-established template
- Perform analytical review to ensure the movements vs. previous periods or vs. the previous forecast make sense
- Liaise with Treasury Team on hedging processes and BATCASH submission
- Support to achieving the monthly goals
- Ensuring compliance with SOX controls and control navigator and delivering ad hoc reports to support management decision making, where required

- Have you support SOX controls in your previous organization?

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Education required: Accounting or Accounting & Finance (Either one with professional qualification preferred)
- Experience required: Minimum 2-3 years
- Understand the impact of accounting process and practice
- Detail oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Knowledgeable in identifying risk and implementing controls
