Location: Bangsar South / Sunway, Malaysia (Full-time, on-site)

**Position Summary**:
The Public Relations, Culture, and Talent Executive will play a key role in enhancing PetBacker’s brand image, fostering a positive company culture, and supporting internal talent acquisition efforts. This role combines external communications, internal engagement, and recruitment, focusing on building relationships within the pet community and ensuring a supportive workplace, while also attracting and retaining top talent. Fluency in spoken Mandarin is required as you will need to communicate with communities based in Chinese speaking countries such as Hong Kong and Taiwan.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Public Relations**:_
- Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with pet influencers, bloggers, and other relevant personalities.
- Represent PetBacker at events and collaborate with external partners to enhance brand presence.
- Develop and execute PR strategies to increase brand awareness and positive media coverage.
- Create engaging content for various platforms to connect with the global pet-loving community.
- **Community Engagement**:_
- Reach out to pet owners and pet sitters to understand their needs and preferences.
- Actively participate in matchmaking processes to find perfect matches for pet owner requests.
- Foster a sense of community among PetBacker users and staff.
- **Culture Development**:_
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
- Organise company events and activities that promote teamwork and a fun, supportive atmosphere.
- Ensure that the company’s mission and values are reflected in daily operations.
- **Internal Talent Acquisition**:_
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and support recruitment efforts.
- Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new talent that aligns with the company’s culture and values.
- Develop and implement talent retention strategies to foster employee growth and satisfaction.
- **Core Requirements**:_
- Enthusiastic about pets and the pet care industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create engaging content.
- Outgoing, outspoken, and comfortable in front of an audience and camera.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in marketing, social media, public relations, or recruitment is a plus.
