Public Relation Officer/ Executive

RM 3,000 - RM 4000 a month Public Relations Roles and Responsibilities: - Play main key person as good first and spokesperson for CIC group of Companies either in real and virtual platform - Responds to requests for information from the media about CIC group of Companies - Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups. - Writes press releases and prepares information for the media to promote CIC of group’s values and expertise - Plans or directs the development of programs to maintain favourable public and stakeholder especially in supporting franchise program and activities, views of the organization’s agenda and accomplishments. - Coaches client reps in effective communication with the public and employees. - Analyses the organization’s objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services. - Maintains the organization’s image and identity - Drafts speeches and schedules interviews related to CIC activities - Prepares and edits organizational materials, including employee newsletters and other publications for internal and external audiences - Updates and maintains organization’s digital content with Marketing team - Use different channels to optimize campaign’s reach and success - Monitor latest info and statement through all CIC of group’s bulletin and selected access - Collaborates with all department managers to identify trends and evaluate advertising to determine whether it is in sync with the organization’s public relation efforts - stay up to date with PR and industry trends and best practises Requirements: - Min Diploma in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Events Management, Journalism or related discipline - Minimum 2(TWO) years relevant experience in communications / public relations / marketing / corporate affairs / journalism / events management / community outreach - Media relations, handling a press conference & Internship experience is advantageous - Possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in using social media platforms and social media management tools.
