Production Planner

Job Description: 1. Responsible for planning & scheduling with production for the sales order demand. 2. Identify the manpower requirement. 3. Maximize capacity utilization, resources and factory productivity to support customer's demand. 4. Responsible for weekly production order. 5. Ensure booking confirmation is available for all scheduled orders. 6. Coordinate with factory production department for the production progress. 7. Manage material inventory to ensure sufficient materials for production run. 8. In-charge for material planning in order for purchases to be made on-time. 9. Close monitor production output and update internal team. 10. Expedite and re-schedule shipment if any. 11. Forecast raw material usage and coordinate on the supply ingredients from customer property. 12. Issue SAP production order. 13. Perform Cost Computation Exercise and issue requisition of invoices upon examine the case. 14. Initiate and follow up the rework request exercise. 15. Perform necessary stock adjustment. 16. Manage the clearance of aging stock. 17. Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality standard on processes, policies and procedures are to be compliance with the Quality Management System. 18. To carry out any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by superior. Job Requirement: 1. Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing/ Operations/ Food Technology/ Science/ Supply Chain and other related courses. 2. At least 2 years experience in related field. 3. Possess strong product knowledge and production process procedures. 4. Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills. 5. Good negotiation skills. 6. Able to prepare and write reports. 7. Sensitive to figures and Meticulous. 8. SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
