**Reports To**

Head, Network Planning

**Role Purpose**

To lead, manage and process analytical insights, data analysis and to leverage existing systems and databases to support the decision-making process for the Network Planning and Fleet divisions.

**Key Accountability**
- **Monitoring and Reporting**:Ownership of the route profitability dashboard reports for MH and FY to support Network & Fleet decision-making and to advise Management on subsequent actions as well as being the single point of contact on all matters relating to network financials and KPIs
- **Scenario Planning**: To carry out different scenario runs and plans using Network Planning tools to monitor, examine and/or decide on the viability of current and/or future routes in the network
- **Analytical Support**: Leadership and management of on-demand analytical support to the Network Planning team on various assigned Network projects and accompanying analysis as required
- **Fleet Projects**: Lead analytical support on fleet projects, such as aircraft capability and economic analysis including cabin layout changes, fleet assignment changes and as-needed analysis
- **Research & benchmarking**: Lead in research and benchmarking on trends and latest developments affecting the current and future MAG network
- **Training & development**: To manage training and development needs of direct reports and to monitor progress and suggest corrections as necessary

**Qualification & Experience**
- Degree in Mathematics/Economics/Business/Finance/Airline Management or any other relevant field
- MS Office suite - Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
- At least 4 years experience

**Areas of Experience**

Finance, Revenue Management, Network Planning or Analysis roles

**Personality Traits**
- Good communication skills to articulate and facilitate discussions both at the team and with senior leadership to drive decision making
- Good analytical skills
- Able to link geopolitical events to their effects on the network and passenger demand
- Familiar with tools and databases such as Excel and PowerBI
- Knowledge of the Network Planning systems, industry demand data (DDS, OAG or Cirium) and fleet databases and performance data
- Project management and ability to develop financial models
- Knowledge in Economics, traffic growth and trends, aircraft capabilities and Finance
