Job Description: As a Factory Manager, you will be working from Monday to Friday, **Maintain a safe work environment for all staff. ** Establish monthly production plan and ensure >99% OTIF delivery rate as committed to the customer. **Product quality is maintained in line with the expectations of the customer and shareholders. ** Ensure production scrap levels are always 90% in all sections of the business to be price competitive. Share monthly achievement and action reports. ** Monitor spare parts, water, and electricity consumption and ensure the same is maintained in line with costing. Share monthly achievement and action reports for improvements. **Directly lead production planning to ensure minimum WIP at each stage by implementing just-in time techniques across the process flow. ** Oversee scrap management i.e. handling, storage, and assistance in sales to ensure no loss of resources or theft. **Lead maintenance team to ensure site & machine condition is maintained in optimal condition at all times. Everything should be in a designated area. ** Ensure consumption of consumables such as glue, cartons, ink etc is monitored and no wastage of the same. **Uphold all legal, ethical, and technical compliances across the business. ** Ensure all purchase requisitions are duly approved by you before submission to purchase. **Ensure all department’s cleanliness & safety for operation is maintained day in day out in line with prevalent BRC & ISO requirements. ** For new inquiries liaise with costing and sales with reference to product capability review **Lead sample-making for new products, orders etc. as and when asked for by Sales / CR. ** Keep working with the team to develop a new product range in our business & report your achievements monthly basis **Uphold cost-effectiveness research for developing a new product.** **Requirements**: At least 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably within a plastic bag industry. - Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures. - Proficiency with production planning and inventory management systems. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Proficiency with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems like Dynamics 365 AX) and other relevant IT tools. - Proven track record of managing and improving production processes. - Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives. Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
