**Job Scope**:

- Develop and execute procurement plans based on production schedules, inventory levels, and market trends.
- Identify and source electronic components, materials, and equipment required for production.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms in pricing, quality, and delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any disputes or issues promptly.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure quality and compliance.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize procurement costs.
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in alignment with company policies.
- Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including POs, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to manage inventory levels effectively.
- Prevent overstocking or shortages by aligning procurement with demand forecasts.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including vendor contracts, agreements, and certifications.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions, shortages, or quality issues.
- Develop contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted supply for production.
- Work closely with the production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on procurement status and any potential challenges.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a purchaser in the electronics industry or a related field.
- Familiarity with sourcing and procuring electronic components, PCBs, semiconductors, or related materials.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Understanding of electronics industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits or audits.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
