Shariah Secretariat has the responsibility to provide operational support for effective functioning of PruBSN Shariah Committee, which includes coordinating communications and disseminating information to the Shariah Committee, the Board of Directors and the management.

1. To assist in SC meeting related matters, details are as follows:
a. To schedule, send notice and prepare agenda for SC meetings;
b. To set deadline for submission of papers and distributes papers for SC meetings;
c. To prepare Minutes of Meetings and obtain SC’s confirmation of Minutes of previous meetings;
d. To communicate/liaise with required/ invited attendees for the Meeting;
e. To prepare Memorandum of Action;
f. To keep track on the attendance of the meeting schedule for SC;
g. To assist in drafting SC resolution for paper presented in meeting or via circulation;
i. To assist in submitting request for meeting allowance of SC members; and

j. To assist in training arrangement for SC members, i.e., registration, accommodation, travelling.

2. To be responsible for maintenance of the Shariah Statutory records.

3. To be responsible in Shariah administrative matters such as record, filing and reporting system.

4. To assist the Shariah Manager in conducting Shariah research when required.

5. To assist the Shariah Manager in ensuring proper implementation of Shariah Governance Framework and Manual
