Personal Driver

**Requirements**
- Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Valid Driver's License:

- A valid, clean driver's license (often requiring several years of driving experience).
- A strong record of safe driving with mínimal accidents or traffic violations.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a personal driver or chauffeur is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and shortcuts is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance:

- A basic understanding of car maintenance is required to recognize when something may be wrong with the vehicle.
- Ability to ensure the car is in good working order and to manage simple maintenance tasks.

**Professionalism and Discretion**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially when interacting with high-profile individuals or VIPs.
- A strong sense of discretion, respecting the employer's privacy at all times.

**Punctuality and Time Management**:

- Exceptional time management skills to ensure the employer arrives on time to meetings, appointments, or events.
- Ability to adapt to a sometimes unpredictable schedule.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry small items such as bags or groceries.
- Comfort with long hours in the vehicle, including extended driving sessions.

**Good Driving Record**:

- A proven record of safe driving with no major accidents or traffic violations.
- In some cases, a background check may be required.

**Desirable Traits**:

- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
- Ability to anticipate needs and stay ahead of the employer's schedule.
- A calm demeanor in stressful situations, such as during heavy traffic or emergencies.

**Driving and Transportation**:

- Safely transport the employer (or family members) to designated destinations, such as work, meetings, events, or social gatherings.
- Ensure that the route is planned to avoid delays, heavy traffic, and other obstacles.
- Maintain a high standard of driving at all times, adhering to local traffic laws.

**Vehicle Maintenance and Cleanliness**:

- Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., water, tissue).
- Ensure the vehicle is regularly serviced and repaired as needed, including handling minor maintenance tasks like checking tire pressure and oil levels.
- Report any issues with the vehicle to the employer or management promptly.

**Privacy and Confidentiality**:

- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, respecting the privacy of the employer and their family.
- Avoid sharing any personal or sensitive information learned during trips or interactions.

**Schedule Management**:

- Coordinate with the employer's schedule to ensure timely arrival and departures.
- Adjust schedules based on last-minute changes or additional appointments.
- Provide reminders about upcoming appointments or events.

**Customer Service**:

- Greet the employer and passengers with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Assist passengers as needed, such as opening doors, carrying bags, or providing drinks or refreshments during the ride.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers throughout the journey.

**Running Errands (if applicable)**:

- In some cases, a personal driver may be asked to run errands like picking up groceries, dry cleaning, or dropping off packages.
- Ensure that errands are completed efficiently and promptly, without disrupting the employerʼs schedule.

**Security and Safety**:

- Ensure that the vehicle is always securely locked when not in use.
- Follow best practices for safe driving, especially in high-stress or dangerous conditions (e.g., inclement weather).
- Stay aware of potential security risks while driving, and take precautions to ensure the employer's safety.
