Censorship Editor

**Requirements**
- Holds a Diploma/Degree in any field, preferably in Broadcasting, Creative Multimedia, Mass Communication, Video Editing
- Computer literate (software/hardware based)
- Knowledge/exposure in broadcasting/editing would be an added advantage

**Responsibility**
- To monitor and edit all channels in compliance to the Malaysian Communication &Multimedia Commission’s (MCMC) Content Code and the National Censorship Board’s (LPF) Rules & Guidelines and all the laws, regulation and policies that currently enforced including international convention which are adopted as valid by Malaysia, before being transmitted to viewers including internal censorship guidelines.
- To operate the live censorship system by performing linear channels compliance editing.
- To ensure all assigned channels are filtered as per guidelines & SOP.
- Replace the banned content with the assigned replacement content based on the provided Long Form Replacement (LFR) work order or perform urgent replacement if there is content change in the incoming feed.
- To monitor, edit and report signal quality issues such as pixelation, incoming black, distortion, audio problem or other failures as per approved SOP.
- To ensure all contents transmitted do not contain “dead air” (black on screen) or any other malfunctions, distortions or pixelation.
- To be responsible in checking and ensuring all operational equipment at the assigned workstation are in good working condition and to report any equipment malfunctions immediately to Operation Supervisors.
- To record all censorship activity accurately into the Censorship Activity Log and submit to Supervisors by end of shift.
