**Responsibilities**:

- To advise and update Company on safety measures at the workplace and new requirements;
- To organize, implement and prepare report for the safety and health requirements;
- Continual process improvement and provide SHE assistance to operations.
- To assist Company or the safety and health committee, if any, pursuant to regulation in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health programme at the place of work;
- To monitor workplace activities to ensure that workers/contractor/vendor personnel comply with Company policies and governmental safety requirements;
- To ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected;
- To assist in inspection, collecting, analysing and maintaining statistics on unsafe conditions, accidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational illness happened at workplace and submit the necessary according to the provisions;
- To ensure all equipment/machineries are complying to safety requirements and safe to be used;
- To perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities of the Company Building and Asset Machineries;
- To ensure Yearly Renewal of Company Machineries and/or Assets with relevant authorities;
- To assist Company to meet requirements of OSHA and any other Regulations made thereunder and the promotion of safe conduct of workplace;
- To assist any officer in carrying made by the Company or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the place of work;
- To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purposes of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the Act or any regulations made under the Act;
- To coordinate with HODs/Managers on facility deficiencies and monthly safety inspections, trainings and briefings;
- To maintain the Site Preparedness and Emergency Plans Procedures;
- To maintain filing regarding worker training and SHE matters;
- Any other work deemed necessary by the Company.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Safety Officer or similar role.
- Knowledge of local safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) is compulsory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and investigations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
- Possess own transport;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
