Assist to plan, direct and manages the procurement activities of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa under the direction of Procurement Manager (PM)/ Group Director of Procurement (GDOP).
- Assist to develop, implement and monitor KPIs for team members including producing reports that evidence of KPI perspective results.
- Assist to develop strategies to improve overall supplier scorecard performance, including quality, service and competitive price.
- Responsible for achieving lowest Total End Cost for general procurement commodity areas. This will encompass sourcing strategies and recommendations for general procurement commodities both for new suppliers, and for improving existing arrangements.
- Managing and optimizing supplier performance, including continuous improvement, innovations, obsolescence and reduction in total cost of ownership.
- Assist to maintains and promotes sound relationships with suppliers and the business community
- Identification and selection of vendors to achieve price reductions without compromising commodity quality or service.
- Implement strategic procurement initiatives with their suppliers to improve SRHS and supplier processes to achieve departmental goals.
- To deliver best in class customer service to internal and external customers.
- Evaluates overall revisions, price and past performance of each price increases of goods and reports to PM.
- Assist to demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and improve On Time Delivery performance, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- To supervise and monitor the performance of subordinates, to align them to taking personal ownership toward achieving departmental and company goals and objectives.

**Requirements**:

- A recognized Degree in Business Administration or a recognized professional qualification in a relevant discipline. 10 years previous experience in related field with a minimum of 5 years or more in similar management capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of procurement principles, theories and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead, influence and motivate others.
- Strong negotiation skills
