Functional
- To lead research in areas related to VBI and sustainability, including iTEKAD, micro financing and sustainability related financing facility.
- To assist in formulating and updating internal policies related to VBI and sustainability, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.
- To liaise with regulators, NGOs, organizations and banks for collaboration opportunity.
- To draft collaboration agreement / MoU for project that involves partnership.
- To ensure internal policies and SOP established or updated in related to the project that involved funding and repayment.
- To prepare monthly and/or quarterly update and/or report on the project progress to the HLISB management committee and Regulator where applicable.
- To prepare monthly and/or quarterly update on the fund disbursement to the HLISB management committee and Regulator where applicable.

Managerial
- To provide support to various business units on matters related to VBI and sustainability, fostering a collaborative environment for achieving goals.
- To facilitate workshops and engage internal cross-functional teams to align on sustainability frameworks and initiatives.
- To manage stakeholder inquiries regarding the bank’s sustainability initiatives and maintain updated information on the bank’s website.
- To work with Marketing & Communications Division to enhance Hong Leong Islamic Bank’s presence and profile as a company that supports sustainable operations.

Organizational
- To prepare VBI Assessment Report and Tracker monthly update to Management Committee meeting.
- To assist in the preparation of updates to the Board for all matters relating to VBI.
- As and when required, to assist in the preparation of special paper(s) for Joint Board and Shariah Committee meeting.
- As and when required, to assist in the preparation of papers/ reports to BARMC.

Education
- Bachelor Degree (With CGPA of 3.0 and above).

Experience
- 1-2 years.
- Research skill.
- Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Good command of English language.
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Self-starter.
- Certifications related to Sustainability in general.
