**Job Title**: Subsea Cable Specialist

**Location**: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

**Reports To**: Project Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design and Planning**:

- Review and approve subsea cable designs and installation plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for cable routes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed project plans and schedules.
- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Supervise the laying of subsea cables, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with vessel crews and other stakeholders during the installation process.
- Monitor the condition of installed cables and perform regular inspections.
- Manage repair operations in case of cable faults or damages, including organizing and overseeing repair vessels and equipment.
- **Technical Support**:

- Provide technical expertise and support during all phases of subsea cable projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to subsea cable systems.
- **Project Management**:

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all installation and maintenance activities.
- Prepare and present project documentation, including technical reports and handover documents.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in subsea cable projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of subsea cable design, installation techniques, and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for cable design and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications in subsea engineering or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.

**Soft Skills**:

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position is office-based in Kuala Lumpur, with no travel required.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM14,500.00 per month
