We are looking for a dedicated, analytical chemist to be based at Meru Industry, Klang.

The chemist's responsibilities include preparing test solutions, analyzing organic and inorganic compounds, and conducting quality control tests. The Chemist will conduct research and improve manufacturing process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing, improving, and customizing products, equipment, formulas, processes, and analytical methods.
- Carry out materials and product testing in accordance customer’s requirements
- Work with R&D team for testing & process monitoring
- Assist in the Quality Control of raw materials and finished products.
- Writing technical papers and reports, and preparing standards and specifications for processes, tests, and products.
- Maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting malfunctions, and purchasing new laboratory supplies.
- Evaluating and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.
- Handling ISO documentation and act as internal auditor / QMS

**Requirements**:

- Possess SPM/Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
- Work experience in (Colour/ Coating/Printing) industries will be an added advantage
- Experience in scientific research and laboratory work
- Proficiency with computers and scientific equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Good presentation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
