**The Role**

**Reporting to: Procurement Manager**

As a Procurement Intern, you will be part of the team that helps the College buy the goods and services it needs to run smoothly. You’ll support tasks such as researching suppliers, comparing prices, preparing purchase orders, and helping ensure items are delivered on time. You’ll also assist in keeping supplier records updated and making sure all purchasing follows the College’s guidelines and budget.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist staff and/or department with appropriate choices of standard items to be purchased for offices and laboratories, especially stationery.
- Assist in vendor selection and placing orders.
- Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered within the agreed timeline.
- Maintain records and follow up on procurement files, shipments, and related matters.
- File maintenance.
- To inspect products received for quality and the correct quantity to ensure adherence to specifications and expectations.
- To assist in booking courses, flights and accommodation for staff training.
- To assist in booking venues, flights and accommodations for school trips and boarding activities.
- To assist in keying invoices into the accounting system -I-Finance and to send remittance advice to suppliers when necessary.
- To process all requested orders in KissFlow and to complete within the expected date.
- To assist in stock checks in the Uniform shop for Audit.
- To assist in checking items upon delivery for Uniform Shop.
- Perform related job duties as required.

**Essential Skills and Abilities**
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- High proficiency and fluency in both written and verbal English communications.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Hours of Work**

Normal working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: RM500.00 per month
