**HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMIN MANAGER**
**Job Descriptions**
Human Resource & Administrative team is pivotal in shaping policies and leading activities for shaping the organisation’s culture. Pelangi Publishing aims to build an exciting and creative work environment, as an established organisation leading educational improvements in the region. Pelangi Publishing currently has operations in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. This role will have first-hand opportunity in shaping our culture and talent management for the Group in all our operating offices.
**Human Resources Management**
- Manage the Group’s Human Resource operations in an efficient manner:
1. Ensure smooth and organized payroll operations for all Malaysia and Indonesia subsidiaries
2. Continuously improve compensation and benefit packages that attract and retain talent for the Group
3. Develop appropriate talent acquisition strategies and manage the Group’s recruitment lifecycle
4. Identify training needs of different departments and develop programs or initiatives to close skills gaps
- Lead initiatives in optimizing the organization culture, such initiatives include employee engagements, company policy reviews and workplace infrastructure enhancements
- Lead talent management for the Group, including organization structure optimization, succession planning, talent acquisition, talent retention and career path planning
- Run outreach programmes with higher education institutions in bridging industrial needs for the Group and constantly bringing in young talent for the Group
**Administrative Management**:
- Ensure workplace infrastructures (Selangor, Johor, Jakarta, Bangkok) are well in place
- Lead workplace infrastructure improvements, in align with the group’s talent and culture strategies
- Continuous staff engagement activities for all employees in the group
- Ensure daily administrative operations are run smoothly and efficiently
- Lead all employee wellbeing initiatives in the Group
**Job Requirements**
- Strong interest to drive process improvements and lead HR initiatives in creative ways, with proven experience an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in HR management and administrative functions
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Working hours: Full time in office, Monday to Friday, 8.00AM to 5.30PM.
- Selected applicant will work at Penerbitan Pelangi, Wisma Pelangi, Bangi, Selangor.
**Required documents**
- Updated resume stating qualifications, work experience, current and expected salary with a recent passport-sized photography;
- Transcripts from SPM to current education level;
- NRIC photocopy;
- Latest 3 months payslip.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
