Food & Beverage Executive

**Job Summary**
The Food & Beverage Executive is responsible Leading the Food Services, be responsible for planning and organizing of the services, allocation/assignment of staffing, participates in budgets, involved in quality assurance initiatives, execute timely reporting of incidents and accidents, and ensure smooth and efficient running of the services. Supports the superior to supervise all line staff in their day-to-day hospital function to ensure compliance and implementation of all Standard Operating Procedures and/ or Statutory Requirements and Guidelines.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensures the Food and Beverage department operations are in accordance with the policies and guidelines adopted.
- Responds to complaints to ensure non-recurrence and foresee potential complaints and provides solutions thereof.
- Ensures F&B line staff performs their duties according to the guidelines given.
- Develop strategies to further enhance and improve the department.
- Drive towards maintaining and achieving MSQH Standards. Participate in and contribute towards quality improvement initiatives / programs / activities conducted at the department or Hospital level as assigned.
**Education Requirement**
- Diploma / Degree in Food Service Management
**Experience / Knowledge Requirements**
- Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
- Able to communicate effectively. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented.
- Attention to details. Notice when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
- To provide immediate solution to problems, where appropriate.
- To be proactive rather than reactive to problems. To recognize potential problems and provide the necessary solutions.
- Giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Ability to convey information effectively.
- Being aware of other’s reaction and understanding their rationale.
- Actively looking at ways to assist people.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Computer literate.
- Valid Typhoid Vaccination
- Attended Food Handler Training
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
