Job Description
a) Responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment and services and ensure goods are purchased according to the required specification, quality standards and cost criteria.
b) Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers for stock purchase, quality and to ensure prompt delivery
c) Develop supplier base and negotiate for best prices, delivery, terms, service and rule regulation from suppliers.
d) To select, evaluate and register suppliers based on competitiveness, qualification and ability to meet requirements
e) Prepare and process Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions for suppliers and liaise with site personnel on delivery of materials and/or equipment.
f) Monitoring of materials usage and maintain stock movement reports.
g) Ensure on-time delivery for requested products to avoid any interruptions with production operations and other departments.
h) To maintain a good filing system of all records and documents
i) To perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

**Requirements**:
a) Good interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in both written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia. Given priority for those can speak Mandarin
b) High accountability in providing feedback on assignment progress and issues.
c) Good planning and organizational skills and able to multi task.
d) Able to work with minimum supervision with high level of accuracy and integrity while working under pressure.
e) Computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office.
f) Knowledge of manufacturing industry would be an added advantage.
