**Job Summary**

Underwrite life insurance risk in accordance to the concurred authority; ensure meeting personal KPI and work as a team to meet department’s and company’s vision.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Underwrite and counter sign life insurance risks up to the concurred authority
- Work with immediate superiors and other managers to ensure personal KPI and department’s KPI are ment, this includes:

- Daily personal productivity is met
- Work with other team members to ensure overall department turnaround time are met
- To follow quality underwriting practice which includes prudent, competitive and consistent underwriting decision, follow the set guidelines (internal and reinsurer manuals); adhere to legal and compliance requirements, company and regional underwriting policy
- Initiate and foster good working relationship with the Sales Team and agents
- Support initiative and project that are initiated from Group to ensure that we are aligned with the Group and company direction
- Any other duties as and when deemed necessary

**Key Requirements**
- At least 4 years of working experience in underwriting or life insurance or related field
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
