JOB PURPOSE

Retail Sales Assistant responsible to assist operation or sales supervisor in their daily task. They help to smoothen the daily sales & operation flow, engage customers with a good attitude and assist to ensure the products are displayed at the correct location.

JOB CONTENT
- To identify customer needs and requirements, to assist them in locating desired items.
- To provide customers with essential product information, as well as offer them a demonstration of product features
- To inform customers with product after sales services and warranty policy.
- To upsell and cross sell to increase sales and maximize company profits by promoting the related item with customer purchase.
- To assist customers to make payment at the counter by packing the purchased items.
- To ensure the correct prices are reflected on the product tagging by sticking the correct price tag on it.
- To assist in replenishment of emptying shelves by record and report to superior or any other method stated in the latest work flow.
- To oversee the upkeep, maintenance and general cleanliness of a store and its premises.
- To assist supervisor in determining the need for new shipments or product order and after the team receives the new shipments, to ensure proper storage of excess stock.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of store products and services to effectively conduct sales.
- Keep a watchful eye for shoplifters and pilferers to minimize risk of theft.
- Work closely with the supervisor to ensure sales targets are achieved.
REQUIREMENT
- Age 18-30 years old (Male / Female).
- Speak fluent Malay Language. Literate in basic English (can differentiate the product name).
- Minimum at least 2 years work experience as a Retails or in a similar role in sales.
- Good in interacting with customers to provide useful product information, effectively conduct sales and customer satisfaction-oriented.
- Good team player, multitasking, able to work with minimum supervision, take self-initiative and report to Supervisor on schedule.
- Always take company benefits as a priority.
WORKING HOURS : MONDAY - SATURDAY (8.00AM-7.00PM) SUNDAY (9.00AM-3PM)
