MAHSA International School is seeking an exceptional and experienced **Deputy Principal** to play a key leadership role in our expanding international community. **About the Role**

As the Deputy Principal, you will support the Principal in providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and educational excellence across all areas of school life. You will play a central role in shaping school culture, raising academic standards, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment where every student thrives.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**: Support the Principal in implementing and monitoring the school’s strategic plan; take a lead role in key development initiatives.
- **Academic Oversight**: Monitor teaching quality, curriculum delivery, and student outcomes; ensure alignment with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level standards.
- **Pastoral Leadership**: Ensure effective systems are in place for student support, discipline, and wellbeing; nurture a caring and respectful school culture.
- **Staff Development**: Mentor and support teachers; lead professional development programs; contribute to recruitment, appraisal, and performance management.
- **Operational Management**: Oversee daily operations including timetabling, cover, exam coordination, and policy implementation.
- **Quality Assurance**: Lead or contribute to internal and external inspections, school evaluations, and continuous improvement processes.
- **Parent and Community Engagement**: Build strong relationships with families; communicate proactively with parents; represent the school positively in the wider community.
- **Safeguarding**: Take a lead role in child protection and safeguarding, ensuring that systems and policies are effective and compliant.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree in Education** or relevant field (required).
- **Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership**, Curriculum & Instruction, or equivalent (highly desirable).
- Professional teaching qualification/certification.
- **At least 5 years of proven leadership experience**, ideally as a Deputy Principal, Head of Section, or equivalent, in an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge and experience with the **Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE & A-Level)**.
- Experience managing curriculum implementation, assessment cycles, and school improvement plans.

- Familiarity with school inspection frameworks (e.g., COBIS, BSO).
- Skilled in **school timetabling** and efficient use of **management information systems**.
- Proven experience in **teacher coaching, curriculum design, and instructional leadership**.
- Experience in leading digital learning or educational technology initiatives.
