Responsible for the electrical & mechanical maintenance operations (repair, maintenance,

inspection, improvement) ensuring supervision of subordinate employees
- To carry out all maintenance activities relating to LV & HV Switchgear, electrical,

instrumentation and mechanical building equipment
- Ensure all laws and regulations related to electrical systems and installations are complied
- Assist Manager liaise with NUR, DOSH, Majlis and other regulatory bodies on utility

services and compliance issues
- In-charge of maintenance of LV & HV Switchgear, transformers, and others electrical

installation including project site power distribution network
- Attend to all power and machine failure / short / trip and rectify accordingly
- Supervise works undertaken by maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance

with the By-Laws, Standards and Safety requirements
- Monitor and update the expiry date and renewal of registration of M&E equipment, ie.

Generator-set, fire extinguisher etc
- Assist to investigate in accidents/ incidents related to electrical installation/equipment to

discover the root cause and prevent from re-occurrence.
- Perform reactive and corrective maintenance during power failures or equipment

breakdown.
- Participate in meetings and coordinate safety and technical training sessions when

necessary.
- Ensure all statutory regulations are complied with as part of their duties.
- Providing technical assistance and advices to technical personnel.
- Attend to all power, equipment and machine failure and rectify accordingly.
- Ensure that electrical installation at site is in good working condition and ensure

installations are safe and legal.
- To handle installation and repair of electrical related on an In-House scale.
- To work closely with vendor on preventive maintenance activities.
- To carry out troubleshoot, inspection, repair & maintenance & test on electrical plant

equipment not limit to DC, ELV, LV and MV, switchboard, equipment i.e. inverters and etc
- To achieve minimum downtime for machines.
- To perform necessary wiring & mechanical duties
- Responsible for maintenance and smooth operation of the electrical system of the plant

include routine check related to the utility.
- Repair and install any electrical fittings that are within the competency of the electrician.
- Assist in commissioning new electrical equipment.
- Be able to come to do repair work during off hours if required.
