**Job Title: EHSS & Facility Executive**

**Department**: Environment, Health, Safety and Security

**Location**: HL Malaysia (Work locations: Bukit Raja Klang and Taman Sentosa - rotation might be needed based on work requirements)

**Employment Type**: 4-5 Month Contract

**Remuneration**: RM4000 - RM4500

**Work Days/Time**:5 days, 8.30 a.m.5.30 p.m.

**Job Identification**

**Job Purpose**:
The EHSS & Facility Executive will be responsible for coordinating, supporting, and advising the business on all aspects related to Health and Safety. They will establish, manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all Health and Safety responsibilities are met. Additionally, the role involves ensuring a safe workplace environment without risk to health, compliance with Health & Safety policies and regulations, and maintaining overall facility safety and maintenance.

**Accountabilities & Key Responsibilities**

**Decision Accountabilities**:

- Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
- Initiate monthly safety committee meetings and generate minutes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture.
- Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
- Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, ensuring safety regulation compliance.
- Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
- Coordinate employee safety and health programs, including short
- & long-term strategic safety planning and development.
- Coordinate safety data from operations and develop monthly safety reports.
- Conduct internal audits, Supplier Workplace Accountability (SWA), OPEX, and other relevant audits, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions and demonstrating continual improvement.
- Coordinate yearly evacuation drills, prepare drill reports, and update Emergency Preparedness Plans as required.
- Perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of the building, systems, and grounds, including day-to-day repairs and emergency maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and comply with SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) requirements.
- Respond immediately to emergencies regarding the building and company facilities.
- Report any non-compliance in the warehouse regarding safety.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders at different levels.

**Working Relationships**
- **Internal**: Warehouse Department, Transport Department, Operation team
- **External**:DOSH, NIOSH, BOMBA, and relevant regulatory bodies.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**

**Skills**:

- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Meticulous and accurate in executing tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external parties.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (oral and written).
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and familiarity with digital communication arrangements.
- Experience in handling and managing Safety will be preferred.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and a good team player.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Preferably a Green Book Holder.
- A sound working knowledge and experience in the logistics industry.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Safety Management or a related field.

**Qualifications**: Minimum Diploma in Safety Management or a related field from a recognized university.

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
