Logistics, Supply Chain & Procurement Protege Trainee (Ref. No. R1009410)

at our location in Kuala Lumpur

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services by raising purchase orders, comparing quotations, and following up with vendors.- Support in maintaining supplier databases and tracking performance.- Help coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping documentation and scheduling.- Monitor and update inventory records and stock levels in ERP or inventory systems.- Work with cross-functional teams to understand demand forecasts and supply planning.- Assist in preparing reports and dashboards on procurement, logistics KPIs, and cost analysis.- Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.- Support compliance with company procurement policies and documentation standards.- Assist in handling day-to-day communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams. You have:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.- Strong interest in pursuing a career in procurement, logistics, or supply chain.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.- Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.- Has experience in MS Office Suite- Good multitasking and organizational skills.- Can work in a team, proactive, and self-motivated.- Ensures accuracy in tasks and maintains high standards in all work.- Manages time effectively and keeps track of multiple tasks and deadlines.- Provides friendly and efficient service to internal and external stakeholders.- Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.- Adjusts to new tasks and changes in the work environment with ease.- Able to identify issues and finds effective solutions quickly.- Works well with others and contributes to a positive team environment.- Takes initiative and is eager to learn and take on new challenges.- Handles sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
