**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role as an Inventory Analyst & Loss Prevention Officer.

This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining all stock loss prevention, shortage control, and awareness programs; investigating loss, identifying areas of potential loss; and training in loss prevention awareness and shortage control techniques.

This position will be highly collaborative with leadership teams, including Chief Management, HRBPs, and Region Operations, to develop and implement plans to improve profitability and ensure customers and associates operate safely.

Must maintain strong working relationships with all Business Partners. Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the region and financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and competition. This vital position is also responsible for ensuring an accurate and adequate quantity of products in a given organization.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor warehouse/operations areas for unusual activity and potential threats.
- Identify potential thieves from contractors or staff.
- Follow and confront a potential person of interest who is suspected of shoplifting.
- Document theft and other violations of security, and what they observed on duty.
- Monitor and analyze store performance metrics and data to identify trends and patterns related to loss prevention issues.
- Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
- Maintain adequate inventory reports.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
- Lead others in safe work practices, especially when in a distribution center environment.
- Establish trusted relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service and cost-effective deals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of loss prevention incidents, investigations, and actions taken to be tied up with inventory reports.
- Keep current and accurate counts of all inventory.
- Check out all trackable items
- Ensure all items are applied to a service order.
- Track and order all items (80% rule) Track & coordinate the ordering of low inventory with the supervisor.
- Provide a monthly inventory report to the predetermined distribution list by the close of business on or about the 1st of each month

**Experience**:

- Loss Prevention & Inventory: 1-2 years (required)

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Retail Loss Prevention officer or similar role within the warehouse/ wholesale industry.
- In-depth knowledge of loss prevention principles, practices, and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively train and educate store staff on loss prevention measures.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

**Salary Range**: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

**Working arrangement**:

- Monday to Friday 9.00 AM-6:00 PM and Saturday (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Lunch Break: Monday - Friday (1 hour between 12.00 PM and 2.00 PM)
- Sunday: Rest day
