**Job Overview**:
The Commis 1 position is a junior kitchen role responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals for students, staff, and faculty. This position requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. As part of an international school team, the Commis 1 plays an essential role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

**Job responsibilities**:

- **Present a positive personal and professional image to all associates, management and external visitors at all times. Exemplify the formal standards and basics.**:

- **Display service and interacts with others courteously and Well-groomed during scheduled work hours.**:

- **To report for duty on time and in the manner specified i.e. well groomed, clean uniform, personal hygiene etc.**:

- **Works overtime if required.**:

- **Smoking and the consumption of alcoholic beverages and food during duty hours is strictly prohibited.**:

- **Prepares soups for daily use, such as soup of the day.**:

- **Cleans and prepare vegetables for buffet and set menu.**:

- **Sets up his/her station for the daily operation of the outlet**:

- **Makes sure all fridges are clean at all times and well stocked.**:

- **Picks up the store items and double checks the items issued with the food requisition.**:

- **Picks up the meat and daily specials from the butchery.**:

- **Cleans and maintain works areas and equipment and makes sure his/her working area is clean at all times.**:

- **Constantly strives to give excellent and friendly service.**:

- **Is aware of work schedule and punctuality.**:

- **Cares for his/her equipment and checks it for damages and losses.**:

- **To be familiar with the all emergency exits and Safety Procedures.**:

- **Any other tasks assigned by your immediate superior or the Management**
