Warehouse Supervsor

Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation that is able to fulLfill operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
- Ensure the receiving of materials from the production lines in accordance with stuffing movement schedules.
- Train new Warehouse Operator within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure inventories in the area of responsibility are accurate.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
- Support organizing and participate in stock take at regular intervals.
- Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level.
- Review ways to reduce waste.
- Ensure that all lifting of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
- Ensure that vehicles and equipment are well maintained and fit for use.
- Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.
- Ensure workers comply with health, safety and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment.
- Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
- Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
- The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/instruction.
- Ensure good housekeeping at all times.
- Ensure effective implementation of ISO 9001.

Job Success Requirements
- Diploma or any relevant certificates.
- Extensive supervisory experience of not less than 3 years.
