General Job Description The manufacturing operators are to perform the assignments as per area/process job description assigned by the supervisors with the objective to strive towards achieving the organization's mission, vision and the quality policy through team work. In performing the assignments they will also assist the department to focus on three main areas; cost, quality and delivery. Practical Responsibilities Back End Monitor the process, materials, and machines to ensure the products meet the criteria and yield. a. Check and take out reject products. b. Change Shop Order (SO). c. Monitor production process. d. Labels "product on hold". e. Testing, marking and taping. All operators also require to carry out below tasks: - 1) Assisting engineers and technicians in evaluations. 2) Performing documents control and record retention activities such as :. a. Maintaining positrol log record, low yield record, yield tracking sheet and MES (Manufacturing Execution System). b. Transact and Update shop order in the information system (MES) and Manufacturing Management Information System, e.g. machine downtime record, etc. 3) Report abnormalities of products and process to supervisor. 4) Carry out workstation housekeeping through 5S activities. 5) Check product quality per the standard operating procedure or quality requirements. 6) Responsible for the Environmental Health and Safety of the company as per ISO 14001 EMS requirements. 7) To participate actively in SGA ( Small Group Activities).
