**Position: Technician for Heavy Trucks**

**Work location: Tuas, Singapore (Workshop) [relocate to Singapore]**

**Salary range: SGD2800-SGD3200**

**Working hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, alternate Saturdays working half day**

**Reports to: Team Leader**

**Note: Preferably more than 8 years working experience in heavy truck**

**Company background: Multinational Company-Manufacturing Company in other country and selling truck in Singapore office**

**Mission/purpose of the Job**
- Responsible for vehicle repair, diagnostic, service maintenance.
- Ensure all assigned jobs are carried out according to UD/Volvo Quality Standards.

**Scope and influence**
- Follow Company authorization policies and guidelines.
- Follow Company IS HR Policy.

**Key responsibilities/Accountabilities**
- To perform all overhaul repair which includes;
1) Overall diagnosis in both electrical and mechatronics

2) Ability to perform data gathering and identify root cause and repair complex issues via Advanced Tech Tool programming and Diagnostics

3) Diagnose electrical system and ECU of all functions and repair (Engine, Brake,

Suspension, Climate system etc.)
- To perform all troubleshooting and diagnostics with appropriate recommendations.
- To provide guidance to other Technicians as and when required.
- To check and provide correct recommended Parts details in the Work Order as and when required.
- To carry out Service Maintenance on the trucks including;
1) Power Steering Diagnostics and Repair

2) Engine Overhaul

3) ESCOT Control Housing Overhaul

4) ESCOT Gearbox Overhaul

5) Rear Axle Overhaul

6) Advanced Multimeter Measurements and Wiring Repair

7) Emission Related System

8) Fault tracing and repair electrical system via Tech Tool test, Calibrate and programming
- To perform all repairs (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic etc)
- To ensure Utilization, Efficiency and Productivity is achieved.
- To record repair time and detail of repair in the Work Order.
- To keep Team Leader updated on the repair details and repair requirements.
- Adhere to Warranty Process and Procedures (Warranty tagging of parts, return and storage of warranty parts etc)
- Ensure good housekeeping of work bay.
- Accountable for all tools and equipment handling and usage.
- Ethical compliance of genuine parts replacement and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works.
- Ensure all service and repairs are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedures adhering to manufacturers standard 4 (Singapore).
- Lead by example to ensure high level of Health & Safety performance within the area of responsibility.
- Attend upgrading courses as and when available.
- To attend to breakdown where necessary and to be equipped with a valid Class 3/4 driving license.
- Adhere to UD/Volvo processes and policies.
- Any other duties assigned by your immediate superior.
