Marcom Manager

Works closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing on all MARCOMM related matters.
- Works closely and efficiently with the Creative Department to produce all inhouse MARCOMM materials.
- Coordinating all public relations activities by develop and strengthen media contacts to ensure that Ixora Hotel is featured in as many marketing communications channels, e.g. networking, traditional / print media, e-media as possible.
- Building physical networking contacts across a wide range of organizations, including but not limited to Govt (MOTAC, PGT, International Convention Centres) Social / Organization, e.g., Chambers of Commerce, International - Internations, Penang Irish Association, International Women’s Club Penang Branch, etc., Charitable Organizations (CSR), etc.
- Invite and entertain the Press / appropriate Bloggers for food reviews to create awareness of hotel facilities & Food & Beverage outlets/promotions on a monthly basis.
- Visit the Press i.e. The Star, New Straits Times and other related magazines on a regular schedule with the General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of hotel events related logistics including pre-planning, show services, emceeing, marketing materials and all other events materials, technical services and event budget management.
- Communicate issues, opportunities and insights to the hotel at large.

**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
