Facilities Manager

**Job Descriptions**
- Lead the Data Centre operations team, overseeing all facilities management, including all disciplines involved.
- Answering customer questions from technical and operational perspectives.
- Manage daily operations, including incident response management, maintenance schedules, and capacity planning together with the onsite and remote client’s operational team.
- Ensure that clients' SLAs and KPI are met in all aspects.
- Oversee and supervise small expansion and migrations projects in the Data Centre.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Data Centre management practices and compliance protocols that ensure high reliability and efficiency, to meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Supervise and ensure high level of cyber, physical and logical security requirements are met.
- Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring that all service agreements and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Lead disaster recovery efforts and Data Centre scalability initiatives.
- Develop and control the operational budget, including forecasts and cost optimizations.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies for operational procedures and disaster response tactics.
- Ensure client’s sustainability targets are met, and Data centre, ISO and other certificates are obtained and sustained.
- Provide leadership and development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Review and approve of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Method of Procedures (MOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Change Management Plan (CMP) for operation functionality.
- To conduct Change Management with the customer for all maintenance with the submission of the Change Request in accordance with the customer’s SLA
- Presentation of meeting minutes such as and not limited to, Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Reports and Analysis reports.
- Approval of Asset Management, Risk Management, Incident Management, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Incident and Analytical Reports.
- Review and approval of Method of Statement (MOS), Risk Assessment (RA) and various Permit To Work (PTW).
- Act as POC to the Client’s Management and Operations team for Drills (Fire / BCP) and incident/s.

Approval of Asset Management, Risk Management, Incident Management, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Incident and Analytical Reports.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive (8 to 10 years) experience in Data Centre operation management, or relevant critical environment experience in Oil & Gas, Electrical Power Plant etc.
- Preferably at a Managerial level.
- Strong technical understanding of Data Centre components, including electrical power, HVAC systems, Direct Liquid Cooling, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to finding and implementing solutions.

Certifications in Data Centre management, facilities management, or IT infrastructure are advantageous.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM14,500.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
