**Job Purpose**

To operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in compliance with regulatory and company environmental standards. Ensure treated effluent discharge meets the required parameters before release.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **ETP Operation & Monitoring**:

- Operate pumps, blowers, aerators, dosing systems, and sludge handling systems.
- Monitor and record daily parameters including pH, COD, BOD, MLSS, DO, and flow rate.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments to maintain optimal plant operation.
- **Sampling & Testing**:

- Collect water and sludge samples for internal and external lab testing.
- Conduct on-site basic tests such as pH, turbidity, and temperature.
- **Chemical Handling**:

- Prepare and dose chemicals (e.g., coagulants, flocculants, pH adjusters) as required.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of treatment chemicals in accordance with SOP and safety standards.
- **Housekeeping & Safety**:

- Maintain cleanliness of ETP area and ensure proper housekeeping at all times.
- Comply with all safety procedures, including use of PPE, chemical handling, and confined space entry protocols.
- **Maintenance Support**:

- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report breakdowns to maintenance team.
- Assist in preventive maintenance activities and shutdown tasks as required.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate logbooks, checklists, and treatment records.
- Support reporting requirements to DOE (Department of Environment) or internal audits.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
