Payroll & Rewards Lead, Group HR

As a Payroll & Rewards Lead, you are required to manage end to end payroll process and responsible for the timely and accurate payroll processing, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Additionally, you are responsible to lead and drive rewards cycle program, which include salary increment, performance bonus, incentive, promotion and mobility. Your responsibilities also include:
- Managing HR operational activities which include employee data administration, payroll management and attendance verification
- Overseeing the operations of employee data management by ensuring all staff movement data which includes new hires, internal transfer, and resignation are being reflected in HRMS on a timely basis
- Preparing monthly forecasts, regulatory reports, payroll management reports and people demographic reports
- Assessing payroll trends and analyse projection for people trend
- Responsible for statutory activities and compliance such as distribution of EA form and Borang E submission
- On-time and payroll accuracy with full compliance to legislation and company’s requirement
- Establishing work standard, schedules, and governance processes to ensure team members are working effectively
- Driving process improvement and continuously seek opportunities in operational activities to increase efficiency gain
- To define future rewards strategy based on alignment with internal and external requirements including business plan and strategy, talent strategy and pay market competitiveness
- To create and examine reward policies, methodologies and tools in line with group HR strategy based on a deep understanding of legislation, innovations and good practice
- To champion the reward agenda in all business units and constantly looks for ways that the reward offering, and experience can be improved to support business performance
- Establishment of group rewards strategy with the constant review of rewards effectiveness against company performance and employee engagement
- Development and deployment of rewards plan and activities to support the short and long-term growth of the businesses
- Lead and drive rewards cycle program which include salary increment, performance bonus, incentive, promotion and mobility
- Establish Rewards and Mobility policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision
- Enabling the high-performance and engaged work culture between managers and employees guided by aligned rewards philosophies and principles communication
- Application of data analytics and new technologies for continuous improvement initiatives in Rewards/HR
**TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**:
- At least 5 years’ experience with payroll systems and data flow & at least 5 years’ experience in leading Malaysia country rewards encompassing compensation, benefits, statutory compliance and incentive program
- Exposure in managing manufacturing compensation and benefits plan
- Possess outstanding verbal, written skills, client-facing communications skills and experience working with Senior Management and external liaison parties
- Ability to develop flexible and agile Rewards strategies in aligning to the company’s need and growth
- Able to collect and analyse HR data in order to improve on organization workforce performance
- Able to draw attention to details, risk assessment and decision taking
- Strong analytical, problem solving and strong advocates in process improvement
- Strong in data crunching and analysis throughout practice life cycle from proposal to implementation and governance stage
- Well versed in labour law, employment act, statutory requirement
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft office, especially in Excel
- Interpret local legislative changes, assess local impact and propose solutions
- Working experience in leading change management and communication of significant reshaping of reward program/projects
- Able to communicate, influence and work independently with Group and SBU leaders
**Salary**: RM5,500.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
