M&E Site Intern

**Mission of the Internship**

To support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works at the construction site. The intern will gain hands-on experience working alongside site supervisors, consultants, and contractors to ensure M&E activities meet project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This internship provides valuable exposure to high-rise construction environments and the opportunity to develop technical and coordination skills in real-world project settings.

**Key Learning Responsibilities**
- Assist in monitoring and reporting daily M&E site activities and project progress to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Support coordination between departments (e.g. Purchasing, Contracts) for materials, site logistics, and documentation.
- Observe and ensure M&E works follow approved technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Participate in meetings with consultants, contractors, and project teams; assist in preparing reports and records for project milestones and handover.
- Help identify and troubleshoot minor technical issues under the guidance of the site team.
- Attend technical coordination meetings and contribute notes or reports as required.
- Perform other duties or tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor or Management relevant to the learning scope.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Passion for construction and interest in M&E systems and site operations.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and construction processes is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English and Malay.
- Ability to work independently, responsibly, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
- Mandarin-speaking is an added advantage for projects with Mandarin-speaking teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,026.51 - RM3,000.00 per month
