**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/Environmental/Wastewater Treatment Science or relevant discipline with minimum 3 years of experience preferably in a waste water treatment plant manufacturing environment and waste water laboratory.
- Having experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 / 17025.
- Ability to review, establish & validate new test methods for ongoing test scope.
- Able to manage, lead and train a team of subordinates.
- Good written and oral in Bahasa Melayu and English.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimum supervision.
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with superiors, subordinates, and external departments.

**Job Descriptions**:

- Ensure all the inspection and test records are properly maintained.
- Ensure all the equipment and instrument are well maintained.
- To update the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) and Environment Aspects Impacts (EAI) worksheet and Significant Impact Register (SIR) list whenever there are changes in activities, planned or new developments or new modified activities, products or services or changes in legislation, local or customer requirements.
- Perform purchase requisition and monthly stock count for daily consumption analytical lab chemical to ensure smooth lab operation.
- Perform service job order request to PEM department for those equipment require to repair, maintenance or services.
- Develop/update relevant method of test method, procedures, work instructions and form by following approval loop in Documents Management System.
- To coordinate training between suppliers and Kossan WWT laboratory subsidiaries for any test method rising issue.
- To consult among Kossan WWT laboratory subsidiaries on any matter related to wastewater analysis.
- To organize/coordinate among Kossan WWT laboratory subsidiaries to participate in Proficiency Test by JKM (Jabatan Kimia Malaysia).
- To maintain the cleanliness and the safety at the workplace.
- To observe the company rules and regulations.
- Perform on-site audit among Kossan WWT laboratory subsidiaries and highlight points for attention, identify and recommend Good Lab Practices and to improve Waste Water Analysis Accuracy.
- Ensure that testing for effluent and sewage sample are done according to procedure and effectively.
- Have the responsibility to ensure the proper verification techniques are used by the Lab. Personnel.
- Ensuring that NO non-conforming products be use, unless they are proper reviewed and approved by the Lab Manager / Factory Manager.
- Monitor the inspection and test results and perform for correction action and follow up its implementation effectively.
- Have the duty to carry out the training for his / her subordinate.
- Have the responsibility to ensure that only the latest issue and revision of documents are being used in the Laboratory.
- Able to verify and authorize laboratory data and reports for testing conducted.
- Have authority to assign lab personnel to perform specific testing when required.
- Other assigned duty as required by the Assistant Lab Manager.
