Assistant Vice President, Business Development - China Client Services **Company**: Marsh **Description**: **Assistant Vice President, Business Development - China Client Service** **s** **What can you expect?** - A team of diverse professionals across the globe, dedicated to helping clients manage some of the world's most challenging and complex risks awaits - Diverse learning and development programmes to develop your skills and competencies - Empower clients and society to realize new possibilities by tackling the greatest economic, geopolitical, cultural and technological challenges facing the world today **What is in it for you?** - Attractive benefits coverage which includes Optical and Dental - Work in an environment that promotes camaraderie and collaboration - Modern Smart Office Workspace in the heart of Kuala Lumpur **We will count on you to**: - Successfully schedules and conducts sales calls and presentations with Chinese companies in Malaysia - Maintains a thorough awareness of market occurrences including important developments, trends, competitors' positioning and the status of business contracts to assist in identifying potential business opportunities. - Under mínimal supervision drafts comprehensive due diligence reports and presentations containing fundamental qualitative and quantitative assessments in response to a request for proposal or to assist a senior colleague to gain business. - Constructs targeted standard marketing plans for business offerings and/or concepts directed at small, straight-forward potential accounts and aspects of complex marketing plans for use by senior colleagues. - Belongs to various professional organizations and attends conferences and events to expand and maintain a large professional network and represent the company. - Collects insights and information on relationship satisfaction and reports results to senior colleagues offering context and suggestions when needed to best ensure account satisfaction and retention. **What you need to have**: - A Degree holder with at least 6 years of business development experience preferably within financial services or insurance broking industry - Passion for sales and networking with corporate professionals - Excellent communication skills including articulation, grammar and persuasion - Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities **What makes you stand out**: - Solid experience in **Business Development servicing China Desk** in current role - Proven experience in securing large accounts by strategic association efforts - Have excellent communication skills with the drive to expand your knowledge - Self-motivated, highly organized, resourceful and meticulous Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office.
