Business Operation Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Department Oversight and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the executive team to align operational goals with the company's overall strategic vision
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to streamline project execution alignment with business objectives.
- Organize regular interdepartmental meetings
- Ensure operations team adhere strictly to SOP, safety policies, and other regulations.
- Review project plans, budgets, and timelines with departmental head to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, staff discipline, health & safety.
- Resolve conflicts between departments and provide strategic guidance.
2.Project Oversight:
- Review project briefs, and cost estimates prepared by QS and Project Managers.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation through regular updates from department heads.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provide strategic direction on complex project challenges and risk management.
3.Business Development and Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the Sales team
- Support proposal preparation, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Provide project insights to support sales pitches and client discussions.
- Develop and maintain key client relationships.
- Assist in developing long-term strategies for company growth and operational efficiency
4. Financial Oversight:
- Review and approve departmental budgets in coordination with Finance.
- Ensure accurate financial forecasting and budget management acrossdepartments.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures wherenecessary.
5.Staff Development and Leadership:
- Mentor and guide department heads to achieve high performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for departmental managers.
- Identify training needs and career growth opportunities for departmentleaders.
- Foster a collaborative, positive work culture across departments.
- Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for process improvements
6.Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop long-term operational strategies and business plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
- Implement best practices for project management and operational efficiency.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience as a manager and handling constructionprojects from the scratch.
- Proven experience in managing multiple departments within the constructionindustry.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to thinkstrategically and tackle complex issues
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong Integrity, resourceful, diligent, and meticulous.
- Proven track record with good references.
- Basic knowledge of sales and business development.
- Responsive and customer oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools
