Role Proficiency:
Execute test cases with accuracy and prevent incorrect product shipment by reporting business critical bugs. Position works under supervision

Outcomes:

- Able to complete the assigned test grid without deviation from given test steps
- Determine product failures and report in test repository and bug tracker
- Find 'out of box' product issues
- Learn technology business domain system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account
- Execute Adhoc scenarios as required
- File P1/Showstopper issues

- Compliance in updating the test repository and bug database properly

Additional Comments:
Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive simulations and validations to guide system level signal/power integrity design including silicon, package, socket and boards. - Perform SI/PI simulations and timing analysis, and correlating simulations with system measurements. - Provide SI/PI simulation models and collaterals for Client's customers. - Interacts cross function teams like silicon circuit design, package design, board design, board fabricators, etc., for ensuring the proper implementation of high speed interfaces such as UPI, DDR, PCIe, SATA/SAS, and system SI for clocks, power, etc. - Defines system/board architectures, review the PCB layout and approve Reference Board (RP) tape out. - Compile model report, which consist of model performance testing, model quality verification and etc. Workforce Requirements - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering - Familiar with package or board 2D or 3D structure extraction. ? SI modelling tools - 3D EM modeling Ansys HFSS, simulation Agilent ADS or similar software, or any similar tools for 3D Model extraction. ? PI modelling tools - Cadence Sigrity (PowerSI, PowerDC and OptimizePI )or similar software ? psiTPro and Ansoft 2D or any similar tools for 2D model extraction - Experience with time and frequency domain measurements, signaling measurements and compliance testing - Familiar with system level electrical simulation using HSPICE, LYNXSPICE, MATLAB, or any similar tools for simulation, or using JMP or similar for statistical analysis. - Ability to develop MATLAB scripts for simulation and results post-processing is a plus. ? Proficiency in C++, C Programming, Perl/Phyton Scripting - Hands-on experience on system/board power-on, debug and set-up/rework/soldering, TDR, VNA, BERTscope, digital scopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters. - Well-versed in Board-level system architecture, I/O structures & topologies - Knowledge in Package, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and layout process and methodology - 3-5 years experience in related field
