**Primary Objective**:

- Support Section Head of Insurance Risk Management Functional Area’s objective and implementing a sound risk management and assessment procedure in relation to insurance risk management, and serves as primary contact / Liaison officer with respective business areas pertaining to risk management matters in Insurance business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effective implementation and monitoring of Insurance and Financial Risk Management Policies including methodologies
- Perform quantitative risk management role in Financial and Insurance risk management areas namely:

- Capital and Solvency at Risk Measurements
- Model Governance
- Insurance Risk Controls
- Special Methodology
- Risk Appetite Statement
- Insurance and Financial Risk Management Policies and Procedures
- Key Risk Indicator
- Ensure appropriate escalation and monitoring for IRM and FRM related issues and incidents are in place to support the successful remediation of incidents and management self-identified issues
- Perform monitoring, reporting, and analysis of loss events/issues
- Proactively track the project or incident status, report progress and highlight significant issues and risk to relevant stakeholders
- Provision of staff training to raise the standards and awareness of risk management in areas to Insurance and Financial Risk Management in the company

Performs any other duties as assigned by the Chief Risk Officer as and when necessary
- Requirements

**Requirements**:
Bachelor Degree - Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Risk Management or relevant discipline.
- Actuarial qualifications (i.e. SOA, CAS,FIA, FIAA, etc) is an added advantage
- Minimum of five years working experience in Actuarial

Valuation/Pricing; UW, RI and Big Data experience would be added advantage
- Good understanding of Insurance industry and operations
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent verbal and written
- English communication skills
