Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

The Delivery Service Analyst delivers actionable data insights by creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards that support cross-departmental decision-making. This role translates complex data into clear, visual insights and leads initiatives to streamline data processes, directly contributing to operational efficiency and strategic growth.

What are you accountable for?
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide visually clear and actionable insights that support informed decision-making, following best practices in data visualization and user experience.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather, organize, and streamline data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and relevance in reporting, enhancing data-driven decisions through clear data requirements and feedback loops.
- Implement best practices for data modelling and governance to ensure consistency and scalability in reports for sustainable data reporting solutions, adhering to standard guidelines for Power BI and data integrity.
- Use advanced visualization techniques to select the best chart types and presentation methods to simplify complex data for stakeholders, enhancing interpretation and insight accuracy by assessing the needs of each reporting scenario.
- Lead initiatives to educate teams on effective data entry and structuring to ensure data can be efficiently utilized in Power BI models for accurate and reliable reporting, conducting structured training sessions and providing clear guidelines.
- Advise on efficient reporting strategies when data access is limited to ensure necessary insights are effectively generated for consistent reporting, recommending alternative data processing and integration methods as needed.

What do you need for the role?
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI (or exceptional skills demonstrated through project work for fresh graduates).
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX queries, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Proven ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and API integration for enhanced automation.
- Experience with databases, such as SQL Server or Azure, for data sourcing and integration.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes (preferred).
- Advanced data visualization and storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively collaborating with stakeholders and presenting insights.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Familiarity with report optimization best practices and ensuring data consistency.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
