**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and a passionate, skilled assistant outlet chef to create delicious meals for our customers. You will be responsible for planning our menu, ensuring that each dish is nutritious and cost-effective, and collaborating with a team of kitchen staff to deliver food that meets the highest quality standards.
- Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
- Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
- Assist Outlet Chef overseeing all kitchen operations.
- Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
- Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
- Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
- Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends.
- Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.
- Maintains and improves the cleanliness and food quality levels in all outlets of the operation.
- Receives and resolves in a timely manner all customer complaints concerning the service of food and beverages
- Plan and prepare staff duty roster.
- To take up any other duty from time to time, by the management.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; higher certification in culinary arts preferred.
- Creative, energetic, innovative and self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
- At least 10 years of experience in food and beverage, including previous Assistant Chef/Chef experience in a high volume kitchen.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in kitchen management.
- Perfectionism in sanitation and quality control.
- Portfolio of creative, unique dishes.
- Expert multitasking ability.
- Great leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to run stocktaking and place orders for resupply.
- Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.
- Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Able to read and write.
- Good in Microsoft outlook, word, excel, ppt etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
