Forecasting of procurement needs on regular basis
- Monitoring vendors’ quality and services according to standard specifications agreed
- Build, develop and maintain relationship with key manufacturers / suppliers in the related industry
- Establish and follow through of tender process for procurement
- Initiate and design departmental policies and procedures in developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Constantly review quotations, price negotiations and delivery terms of supplier
- Identify and take action against errant and inconsistent suppliers
- Working closely with departmental heads to identify and implement best practice for procurement
- Ensure all purchasing procedures setup are adhered to by all departments
- Liaison with the other relevant departments including cost control to maintain cost effective purchases
- Enforcement of dateline and purchasing procedures with other departments
- Have a complete understanding to the operational Do’s and Don’ts and Occupational Safety and Health standards
- Establishing inventory schedule and overseeing inventory control, procedures and implementation
- Ensure proper storage of all items purchased and practicing of FIFO methodology
- Identify storage hazards and implement control over the potential hazard
- Take precautions on the maintenance and organization of the store to avoid wastage, spoilage or theft
- Supervises stock taking, inventory and proper filing of procurement procedural
- Strive to monitor and maintain desirable level of staff morale at all times
- Mobilizes staffs in participation of all interaction activities including Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) activities
- Providing counselling and advise to staffs as and when required
- Ensure staffs are equipped and trained in their line of duties
- Design and promoting associate retention strategies
- To perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Direct Superior

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
