Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

**About the role**

We are seeking an **Accountant** who will be supporting the Doctor Anywhere Group’s consolidation and reporting.

This role is based in **Malaysia** and reports directly to the** Senior Manager, Group Finance** at the Singapore Head Office

**A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows**:

- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring compliance with both international and local accounting standards
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to management and investors, provide financial analysis on these reports
- Support the Manager to develop and maintain group-wide financial reporting procedures and systems. Review, recommend and carry out improvements to accounting systems, business processes and procedures where required
- One of the key point of contacts for financial stakeholders i.e. investors, audit committee, bankers, tax advisors and external auditors
- Prepare and present financial results to the senior leadership team
- Collaborate with the local finance teams in the region to standardize processes and improve efficiency
- Assist the Manager to implement and enforce of financial policies, procedures and best practices across the group’s financial operations
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and any other statutory requirements, including but not limited to corporate and indirect taxes, transfer pricing regulations and audit
- Partner with the FP&A team in providing analysis on any deviations with actual financials
- Monitor and optimize group funding structures and capital allocation, improve cash flow efficiency and reduce cash burn rate
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned when appropriate

**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or ACCA graduate
- Professional accounting qualification i.e. CA or CPA is preferred
- Minimum 6 years of experience in similar capacity, prior experience in the Big 4 and/or healthcare industry will be an added advantage
- Knowledgeable and experienced in accounting principles and practices, financial reporting, audit and taxation
- Meticulous, independent, proactive, responsible, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do
- A good team player with high level of maturity and independence
- Proficient in oral and written English and Malay language. Additional languages are an added bonus.
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
