As a Regional Category Leader - APAC, you are responsible to manage with dedicated providers according to specific policies which includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, Category Strategy development and implementation, negotiations and contract development and management. You will contribute to the best contractual conditions at the same time ensuring internal customer satisfaction and strategic plan for the Oilfield Services business

As the Regional Category Leader - APAC, you will be responsible for:

- Utilizing internal resources (P&S, Category and SRM teams) to leverage BH business continuity and growth plans.
- Managing regional customer tenders to success.
- Growing APAC regional Sourcing Pipelines and manage execution of each project to success.
- Utilizing tools & resources (ThoughtSpot, Power BI) to quickly identify areas of improvement and put & execute strategy of improvement.
- Leveraging Regional and local Experience to enable BH growth plans.
- Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Leading negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
- Constructing, presenting, and executing APAC regional 5-year supply chain strategy.
- Negotiating terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement. Managing claims.
- Improving Payments terms, negotiating savings, growing spend under contract, monitoring vendor service quality.
- Contributing towards taking important decisions with business relevance or supporting business in making decisions understanding broader cross-functional implications.
- Communicating high-level concepts to senior leadership. Coaching and handling development of subordinates.
- Delivering specialized professional work delivered by single-layered team or professional work delivered by multi-layered teams.
- Handling complex professional work in the department.
- Creating region sourcing plans that secure supply and minimize disruptions, in accordance with category sourcing strategies and Product Lines requirements
- Developing action plans, timelines, and resource assignments for sourcing projects
- Strategizing and Executing the regional RFX for global and regional suppliers
- Coordinating the global suppliers’ performance in the region. Manage & develop regional suppliers.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
- Have extensive experience in Category Management and Negotiations.
- Have Oil and Gas Vendor knowledge and contacts, APAC O&G supplier relationship and have knowledge across all Oilfield Services Product line is a plus.
- Possess regional experience and Oil and Gas Experience
- Demonstrating good management and leadership experience
- Demonstrating ability to analyze and resolve problems
